Everything I Do For My Skin Health
It’s been a while since I shared a full breakdown of my skincare routine, so I thought I would list it all out for you including Morning, Evening, Weekly, Monthly etc as well as tools and daily practices I use to boost my skin health.
AM:
I always work out first thing in the morning followed by a meditation in our sauna. This has been a massive game changer for my skin. I think since we got the sauna I’ve had 1-2 blemishes in 6 months (whereas before it would be 3-5 /month). We have the Radiant Health Sauna (not to be confused with Radiant Sauna). Another great way to get this detox effect would be to have a super hot bath with epsom salts (I used to do this at night). In the sauna, I dry brush, which boosts circulation, lymphatic drainage and helps you detox. It also feels amazing.
The next thing I do is take a 1-3 minute freezing cold shower. I believe this has boosted my skin health (and immunity) immensely. When I get out, after the sauna + cold shower, my skin is super glowy.
In my shower, I cleanse with Skinceuticals Soothing Cleanser. I started using this when I got perioral dermatitis and needed to pair back my skincare routine and have continued to use it every AM. I am a firm believer in washing your face in the morning (I know there are mixed opinions on this). For me, it has reduced my breakouts.
Next up, I use C E Ferulic for brightness and evening out my skin. After that, I use Metacell Renewal for my moisturizer. This is the perfect summer moisturizer because it goes on super light and also boosts hydration and smooths fine lines.
If I’m breaking out, I skip the vitamin C and use Phyto Corrective Gel instead.
Then, I usually enjoy my collagen coffee (recipe here) while ice-rolling. I am someone who runs puffy so this tool is a game changer. I also believe swapping the ice roller from my gua sha has reduced my breakouts. Unfortunately, gua sha isn’t the best for people who suffer from hormonal acne.
While I’m making the kids breakfast, I wear these eye patches
When I get ready for the day, I put on 1 pump of this tinted moisturizer in Light. It’s essentially all of the makeup I wear other than mascara for daytime.
When it comes to supplements that support skin health, I am religious about AG1, Bend Beauty (code is SOPHIE20), collagen (I get this from Project Skin when I’m in for treatments), and water with electrolytes that I put in my Stanley Tumbler every morning to drink while I’m in the sauna
PM
At night, I cleanse with Simply Clean (usually twice), use Retexturizing Activator and finish with Triple Lipid
In the winter, I like to use Retinol
If I’m breaking out, I do Simply Clean + Daily Moisture. I really like pairing things WAY back when my skin is acting up. It’s the opposite of what I used to do and it really seems to work.
Weekly
I tan my face and body using Saltyface (code is SOPHIECOLLINS) weekly. In the winter, I use the face tanner every other day.
I love this mask (code SOPHIE15) for when I’m traveling or when I can’t use the sauna. 2-3x / week ideally. I’ve noticed a generous reduction in fine lines and boosted glow when using it regularly.
I use this mask mixed with this mask 2x / week for reducing breakouts and exfoliating.
1-2 days per week, I like to use only one product, usually an oil, to give my skin a break.
Monthly/Annually
Every 6ish weeks, I like to do a glow or custom facial at Project Skin
1-2 times per year, I like to do Clear & Brilliant + a little Botox also at PS

As you can probably tell, I am skin obsessed. I always have been. It’s something my dad instilled in me from a young age. I’ve never looked back and it makes me so so happy. I hope this breakdown helps! I know it’s a lot, so if you have any specific questions, feel free to email me! xx
